NBA GAMES

Orlando @ Bulls - M-Jeff's first home game since returning to NBA. Game tape is very shaky but BJ Armstrong does play.

1997 NBA All Star Weekend – See M-Jeff get the first trouble-double in NBA history and Christian Laettner plays in his only AS game.

Washington @ Bulls 1/19/02 - M-Jeff's return to Chicago. Wiz win by 8 or so, M-Jeff commits career high 9 turnovers.

Washington @ Bulls 1/3/03
Washington @ Bulls 1/24/03 - M-Jeff's final trip to Chicago. M-Jeff gives a great speech before the game.

2003 NBA All-Star Game in Philly - M-Jeff makes great shot late in OT but KG ties it up and the West wins in 2 ots

Wizards @ 76ers 4/16/03 - M-Jeff's last NBA game. Tape includes the ESPN love affair afterwards.

Blazers @ Bulls - Game 6 of the 1992 NBA Finals - M-Jeff and Co. beat the pride of EIU Kevin Duckworth in finals for the Bulls 2nd title

Bulls @ Suns – Game 6 of the 1993 NBA Finals – In this beaut we have M-Jeff winning his 3rd NBA title with a little help from the cracker known as Pax.

Sonics @ Bulls – Game 6 of the 1996 NBA Finals – Despite 7 of Shawn Kemp’s 8 illegitimate kids in attendance, M-Jeff celebrates his 3rd Fathers Day without James by winning #4. Tape not the best but does show those great white Bulls champs hats.

Bulls @ Utah – 1997 NBA Finals – over the course of 3 tapes I have all of the Bulls games in their entirety including the M-Jeff "ill" game. However the end of game 6 is missing because I decided to tape Buffy the Vampire Slayer (hey, Buffo was hot at the time) so missing is Kukoc’s dunk to seal the title.

Bulls @ Utah – 1998, Game 6 of the NBA Finals – M-Jeff’s last ever shot in a Bulls uniform. Watch him give Byron Russell a serious beat down for title # 6.

BULLS TITLE VIDEOS

1991 vs. Lakers – dubbed on tape with one of the Wizards-Bulls games

1992 vs. Blazers – dubbed on tape with the 1992 Blazers title game

1993 vs. Suns – original, purchased at Blockbuster for like $2.14 about three months after the glorious day

1996 vs. Sonics – original, purchased at Jewells-Osco for a song after the day

1997 & 1998 – dubbed on one tape @ 2-hour speed

Also have 91,92,93 titles games taped from NBA TV. Games are not in their entirety because NBA TV sucks ass

NCAA College Basketball

Loyola (men) vs. E. Kentucky -11/23/96 - The Ramblers win thier first-ever game at the Joe Gentile Center.

Loyola (women) vs. Colgate - 11/23/96 - Kelty Weeks and the Colgate women destroy the Lady Ramblers. For a 14 yr-old boy Weeks was about as hot as they got. Great shit.

UIC 76 vs. Loyola 75 - 3/5/02 - The Flames win a thriller in OT to get an automatic birth to the NCAAs.

FOOTBALL VIDEOS – NFL

Jets @ Bears 11/16/97 – Jets beat the Bears at a frigid Soldier Field. This is the first start ever for Darnel Autry and the Jets defense gives him a beat down

Jets 21 @ Tampa Bay 17 - 9/24/00 - The Jets offense is sputtering like our old Ford Farmont but then Al Groh pulls Vinny for Ray Lucas for 1 series and then Vinny gets his ass in gear to lead the Jets to an amazing 21-17 victory over the Tony Dungey led Bucs. This is the game where C-Mart throws the HB option to Chrebet for an NYJ winner. Classic..Bitch.

Jets @ Bears 12/15/02 – Jets make trip to that damn Cow-town in Champaign and lose a hard fought 20-13 contest. Game features "Happy" Henry Burris running the option on a key 4th down play. Longtime Jet Wayne Chrebet has a costly fumble late in the 4th quarter.

Colts @ Jets AFC Wild Card 1/04/03

Jets @ Raiders AFC Divisional 1/12/03 – Any hopes the Jets had of being last years Pats are quickly erased as Rich Gannon and the Raiders easily dismantle the JETS. Same tape as Colts game.

Jets 24 @ Raiders 38 AFC Wild Card 1/12/02 – The breakout game for Laverous Coles is wasted as the Jets season comes to an end.

New York Jets 20 @ SD Chargers 17 (2005 AFC WILD PLAYOFFS) 1-8-2005. Take it Nate Kaeding. The Jets win a thriller to advance to the next round of the playoffs. The Jets win on a Doug Brien FG in OT after Kaeding misses a FG that would have won the game.

New York Jets 17 @ Pittsburgh Steelers 20 (AFC Divisional Playoff) 1-15-05 The Doug Brien game. DB misses a pair of FG in the final minutes as the Jets lose a heartbreaker. Turns out ot be the last game Brien plays as a Jet as he is released to make way for Ohio State kicker Mike Nugent a classic that goes the wrong way.

NYJ 14 @ Falcons 27 (MNF) 10/24/05 - Vinny starts but doesnt last long in this debacle. Jets rally late behind QB Brooks Bollinger but to no avail. Game is widescreen format and tight.

Da Bears (CHICAGO BEARS GAMES)

Colts 18 @ Bears 20 (preseason) 8/9/03 - The lone game as a Bear for former NIU standout OL Tim VIncent. Vincent dons the #62 and does not play...however he is show on the sidelines during an incomplete pass. for a complete story on the game visit http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/recap/NFL_20030809_IND@CHI

SF 49ers 13 @ Bears 20 (preseason) 8/21/04 - Finally.....P.J. Fleck has come back to...Chi-CAGOO. The NIU standout returns home to take on the Bears in this preseason snoozer. Fleck catches 2 passes for 46 including one highlight reel catch. Bears win the game and announce the trade of Marty Booker (and his giant hands) to the Dolphins for Adawale Ogunlyle. For a complete story on the game visit http://www.nfl.com/gamecenter/recap/NFL_20040821_SF@CHI

Bears 7 @ Cowboys 21 (Thanksgiving) 11/25/04 - The Bears wear their orange uniforms from the 1940s but end up feeling Blue after the Cowboys Vinny Testaverde comes in and leads the 'Boys to a pair of TD drives.

CHICAGO CUBS GAMES ON VHS – (Some may say the crem de le creme of my collection)

Expos 5 @ Cubs 1 - 8/2/99 - Mark Eugen Grace (asshole) gets his 2,000th career hit off Dustin Hermanson. Cubs lose despite Sammy Paralta Sosa's 41st HR of the year. http://www.baseball-almanac.com/box-scores/boxscore.php?boxid=199908020CHN

LA Dodgers @ Cubs 8/26/00 – Fox’s "Turn back the clock game" features different eras of broadcasting every inning. Nice idea but Joe Buck and Tim McCyver do the announcing so that is a downer. LA gives the Cubs and Kevin Tapini a beat down.

Pittsburgh 12, 3 @ Cubs 1, 4 – 5/21/02 – A doubleheader split that includes a titantic HR by Sosa in game 2.

Pittsburgh @ Cubs – 5/22/02 – Mark Prior’s major league debut as the Cubs win in a romp.

Cubs 4 @ Giants 2 – 4/29/03 – Kerry Wood wins a Tuesday night game at Pac Bell. At the end of the tape is Freddy Adu’s first ever MLS game and bits of the hilarious Donald Trump SNL skit.

Rockies 4 @ Cubs 5 (10 inns.) – 5/4/03 – A-Gone hits a walk off blast to give Joe Bor the win.

Cardinals 2 @ Cubs 3 (10 inns) – 5/10/03 – A-Gone hits another walk-off homer in the 10th off Cal Eldred and his arm full of screws. During this game we learn "The Great Slugger" will miss time with an ingrown toenail.

Cubs 2 @ Cardinals 1 – 5/17/03 – Mark "Taco" Bellhorn hits the go ahead HR off Cards loser Steve Kline to give Cubs an amazing win of Fox Sat. Baseball. Joe Bor picks up save #7. Tape also has USA vs. Russia from 2002 Olympics.

Tampa Bay 2 @ Cubs 3 – 6/3/03 – The infamous Sammy Sosa cork scandal takes place. Jermei Gonzalez throws a fastball and Sammy’s bat shatters and the doubts start. Game includes the classic Sammy "I want to apolojize" press conference afterwards. Great "Dude" quotes from Johnny B. Baker. As for the game Cubs win on a wild pitch.

Tampa 5 @ Cubs 2 – 6/4/03 – Day after cork. Shawn Estes gets rocked in this otherwise snoozer. Cub fans (including myself) give Soser a standing ‘O’ as he comes to plate in bot. of 1st.

2005 SEASON

Reds 7 @ Cubs 8 -4/27/05 - D-Lee goes yard twice and has 6 RBIs but its Donald Corey's walk-off HR that gives the Cubs the win in this wild one. Cubs get over the .500 mark (11-10) with victory. Game recap - http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=250427116

Chicago (AL) 3 @ Cubs 4 - 5/22/05 - Mark Prior goes the distance for the Beloved. Jason Dubois hits a three run dong in the 6th to turn a 2-1 deficit into a 4-2 lead. DuBois will later get traded for a worthless sack of shit named Jody Gerut. The complete game is Mark WIlliam's Priors first since 2003. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=250522116

Houston 2 @ Cubs 4 - 5/24/05 - Sergio Armando Mitre makes his much anticipated debut against Rajaah and Serg matches the old man pitch for pitch. The defense falters for the Cubs earlier on as Serg is charged with 2 bullshit runs but then after Rajaaah leaves (to go collect Social Security) the Cubs bats come alive w/ 4 in the 8th of Brad Lidge to give Serg a much a deserved no decision. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=250524116

Rockies 6 @ Cubs 11 -5/29/05 - Segio pitches 5.1 and gives up 6 runs on a windy day at The Friendly Confines. Cubs score 5 in the 6th to break this mamma-jamma open. Joe Bor pitches in with a scoreless 7th. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/preview?gameId=250529116

Cubs 2 @ SD Padres 6 - 6/3/05 - Sergio suffers his first lost after he gets chased in the 5th. Tough loss for the hometown hero. Phil Nevin (he of the one testicle variety) busts open a tied game with a 2-run single in  the 5th. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=250603125

Blue Jays 0 @ Cubs 2 -6/8/05 - Roy Holladay vs. Sergio Mitre = easy win for our frineds fromt eh North..right? Well, to quote Stone Cold Steve Austin "ehh ehh." Mitre cools of the Jays on an 86 degree day with 7 strong innings. Mitres double in the 3rd scores Holly and ends up being the GW run.

Red Sox 6 @ Cubs 14 - 6/10/05 - In the first meeting between the Red Sox and Cubs since 1918 the Cubs bust out the whooping stick to the tune of 4 HRs. Maddux picks up the W.

Miami 0 @ Cubs 14 - 6/13/05 - Sergio pitches th egame of the year by a Cubs hurler as he goes all 9 in a shutout against the Fish. Ram goes deep twice and the Cubs score 11 in the final 3 innings. Segio improves to 2-1. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=250614116

Cubs 3 @ NY Yankees 6 - 6/19/05 - In a game I watch a majority of at Nick's BBQ, it wasn't just the Chicken Gyro w/ feta cheese that I had a tough time digesting. Sergio gets screwed over by a bad defense (Todd Walker) and sees his 16 inning scoreless streak end. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=250619110

Cubs 4 @ Brewers 9 -6/22/05 - $86 plus another $45 on gas and $25 to eat at TGIF is what I paid to watch this debacle in person. Big Z curses whatever God he worships after giving up 8 runs in  a career-low 1.2 innings. The gem of the whole experience is when I first sit down in my seat wearing an authentic Big Z blue #38 jersey, this dope behind me asks me if I bought the jersey at the Miller Park. Sure dumbass, they sell authentic jersies of the Cubs at visiting parks. OK jag-bag. This game features Joe Bor giving up his final run ever as a Cub http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=250622108

Cubs 2 @ Chicago 12 (AL) 6/24/05 - Segio gets shelled in an absolute complete disaster. Joe Bor makes his final appearence for the Beloved and pitches a scoreless 8th to lower his ERA to 6.55. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=250624104

Brewers 0 @ Cubs 2 - 6/28/05- Nothing to exciting about this game except for the its the last one with Joe Bor in uniform for the Beloved. In aboot the 2nd inning Len and Bob are discussing the pending roster move tommorow and they show a picture of Joe Bor in the 'pen. As a longtime Joe Bor fan this one is tough to watch. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=250628116

Brewers 2 @ Cubs 3 -6/29/05 - Mr. DL Kerry Lee Wood comes off of the injured list meaning the great Joe Bor, he of the 34 saves in 03, must be let go. Cubs win in the 9th in a meaningless affair. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=250629116

Cubs 3 @ Reds 9 - 7/20/05 - Kerry Lee Wood gets injured after an ineffective few innings ruining my first game ever in Cincinatti. Thank God for Papa Johns afterwards.

Cubs 6 @ Reds 9 - 7/21/05 - More of the same in the armpit of America. Jerry Hairston does make an amazing catch to keep a brief lead for the Cubs. Novoa blows it an inning later. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/recap?gameId=250721117
